These are the behaviors that I observed prior to doing the scan samples.
|Moving along bottom of the container||The tadpole is swimming but stays close to the floor of the container.|
|Pushing into the bottom of the container||The tadpole is almost vertically swimming with its head pushing into the bottom of the container.|
|Pushing into the sides of the container||The tadpole is swimming horizontally with its head pushing into the side of the container.|
|Resting with moving tail||The tadpole is not moving anywhere but its tail is still moving back and forth.|
|Resting with non-moving tail||The tadpole is completely still. Not even its tail is moving.|
|Swimming||The tadpole is moving around the container and not touching any of its walls.|
Do tadpoles prefer to be alone or interact with other tadpoles?
Tadpoles prefer to be alone instead of interacting with other tadpoles.
If tadpoles prefer to be alone instead of interacting with other tadpoles, then when in the same container tadpoles will rarely interact with each other.
